Description	Two men, two women, and a small boy are seated in an interior. One woman is knitting. The other woman wears a plaid dress and a shawl and is seated in a bentwood rocking chair. One of the men is reading. A cat sits near the boy. Statuettes and a lamp are on a table and on the mantle of the fireplace. Framed pictures, including a portrait of one of the men, are on the wall. A framed motto, possibly worked in needlepoint or embroidery, reads "God Bless our Home." A gas chandelier hangs from the ceiling. Floral patterned wallpaper is on the walls and floral patterned carpet is on the floor.
Notes	Inscribed on the back: "Interior of 103 Capitol Ave." / "Horace Hills / Eliza Hills / George S. Gilman / Geo. Hills Gilman / Ellen Hills Gilman." Title supplied by cataloger. George S. Gilman was an attorney with an office at 291 Main Street. His father-in-law, Horace Hills, was a partner in Isaac Hills & Sons, wholesale dealers in boots and shoes at 202 State Street. He and his wife lived with his daughter and her family.
