Description	A daybed has fringed bedspread and a cushion with a floral sham. A large book lies open on a small round table with a fringed tablecloth. Several other small tables and several bookcases are in the room. A candle, an oil lamp, a vase of flowers, a Wedgewood urn, figurines, and photographs are among the items in the room. Framed pictures hang on the walls. A oriental carpet is on the floor. A gas light fixture hangs from the ceiling.
Notes	Oliver Risley, the chief cashier of Willlimantic's First National Bank, invested heavily during the prosperous 1880s. When a economic downturn caused his investments to plummet, he embezzled vast amounts causing numerous individuals to lose their life savings as local banks were forced to close and Willimantic's financial structure crashed. Risley took poison and was found dead in his bed. Title supplied by cataloger.
