Description	A Chippendale armchair and chest-on-chest are in the corner of a large room. Other furniture includes a rocking chair, two benches, and an upholstered sofa and armchairs. A statuette of a man and a girl, presumably Gallaudet teaching a deaf mute, by Daniel Chester French, is on a table in the background. Framed paintings are on the walls. What appear to be engravings are displayed on an easel in the background. Patterned carpet is on the floor. A patterned wallpaper frieze is on the walls below the ceiling.
Notes	128 Woodland Street was the home of Edward Miner Gallaudet, the son of Thomas Hopkins Gallaudet. Like his father, he was prominent as an educator of the deaf.
