Description	Men in suits ride in an open automobile down a city street. Some hold straw hats. One man, Charles Lindbergh, is standing. An American flag and a Connecticut state flag are on the front of the car, which has a license plate numbered "493". Policemen in uniforms ride motorcycles on both sides of the car. A boy on a bicycle is at the far right. Men in military uniforms are at the far left and in the right foreground. A man with a camera is in front of the car. Additional men and women crowd the sidewalk and a reviewing stand draped with bunting. Automobiles are parked in a large parking lot in the background. Signs read: Socony" "Parking / 25 cents". A billboard advertises "A.C. Peterson / Dairy." Trolley tracks are in the road. Inscribed on back: Chas. Lindbergh in Hartford / Front seat: Ned Allen, center. / Back seat: Lindbergh, standing / Gov. John Trumbull (bald head) / Acting Mayor Houghton Bulkeley / July 20, 1927
