Description	A man wearing eyeglasses is seated on a bench, while another man appears to helping him with a roller skate. A third man seated next to them looks on. Notes	Title supplied by cataloger.<br>William H. Mortensen served as a state senator from 1942 to 1944. He was elected mayor of Hartford and served a term from 1943 to 1945. This photo was probably taken when Mortensen was running for mayor of Hartford.<br>Louis 'Kid' Kaplan was a Russian born boxer who settled in Hartford and was world featherweight champion in 1925-26. He is a member of the International Jewish Sports Hall of Fame, and was inducted posthumously into the International Boxing Hall of Fame in June 2003.
