Description	Large group of men stand on the floor of a factory building. Some men wear suits. Others wear work clothes, including overalls or aprons. Some wear caps. Some have mustaches. Heavy machinery lines both sides of the two-story space, which is framed by iron or steel girders. Electric lights are mounted on either side. A huge rectangular piece of metal is suspended from a hook hanging from a pulley attached to a beam that is labeled "20 Ton Niles Crane." A sign on the back wall reads: "No Smoking Allowed / During Working [Hours?]"<br>
Notes	Title supplied by cataloger. <br>Billings & Spencer had factories on Russ Street, at the corner of Lawrence Street, at 1 Laurel Street and on Capitol Avenue. The company manufactured drop forgings for pistols, sewing machines, locomotives, trolleys and "machines of every description." <br>
