Description	Panoramic view of an industrial city located on the Willimantic River. Smoke issues from the smokestacks of many factory buildings. In the foreground, rail fences, including Virginia rail fences, surround fields, and possibly an orchard. Trees line a dirt road. Houses with outbuildings are in the distance, on the outskirts of town. Vignettes depict the Willimantic Linen Company's Mills No. 1, 2 and 4, the Hop River Warp Company, the Congregational Church, St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Brainard House, the Turner Building, Loomers Opera House, other commercial buildings, banks, and houses, including the residences of William C. Jillson, E.A. Buck, E.J. Boss, and Colonel Barrows.
