However, variations indicate that this is likely a copy of the earlier cut.<br>Dated at end: East-Hampton, ex meo musaeo, March 20th, 1770.<br>Advertised in the New-London Gazette, April 6, 1770 as "Just published by T. Green."<br>Oyster Ponds is known today as Orient on Long Island, New York. East Hampton may refer to New York or Connecticut.<br>Evans attributes to Samuel Buell, minister of the East-Hampton church.<br>Evans 11591; Bates 1257; New London imprints 892; Wegelin 36.
