Notes
The
Danbury
Fair
was an
annual
exhibition
held
in
Danbury
between
1821
and
1981
. At
first
a
traditional
agricultural
fair
, the
event
later
included
large
fiberglass
sculptures
,
stock
car
racing
, and
amusement
park
rides
. The
former
fairground
is
now
(2011)
the
site
of the
Danbury
Fair
Mall
.
