Description	View of Danbury, taken from Hayes Hill. Several sheep are grazing among tree stumps on the hill in the foreground. To the right a fence encloses a wooded area. Churches include the Roman Catholic Church, the Universalist Church, the Baptist Church, the Methodist Church, the Church of the Disciples, the Old Congregational Church, and the Episcopal Church. Industrial buildings include the factories of Crosby, Hart, & Co. Wool Hat Factory, Benedict "" Montgomery Wool Hat Factory, Steven, Wes "" Co., Planing Sawing Mill, George Starr’s Box Factory, Tweedy, White & Co., Fur Hat Factory, Tweedy Brothers, Fur Hat Factory, Tweedy, White Co., Hat Forming Factory, E.A. Mallory, Fur Hat Factory, and Hurlbut & Co., Fur Hat Factory. Other buildings of interest include the Court House, Jackson’s School, the Gas Works, the Pahquioque House, Rev. Townsend’s School, Starr Barnum, Carpenter Shop, the Rail Road Depot, and the Wooster House.
