Description	View of looking east to Godfrey Street from Edgecomb Street, Mystic, possibly taken during a snowstorm. The ground is covered with snow. What appears to be the back of a house or other structure is visible in the center background. Evergreen trees can be seen in the right and left foreground and behind the building. Signed in pencil lower right: "Geo. E.Tingley".
Notes	Title supplied by cataloger. <br>George E. Tingley was a noted Mystic area photographer. In his early career, he was an assistant and later sometime partner of Everett A. Scholfield. After 1894 he worked independently. <br>Handwritten by Tingley on reverse: "#498 Drifting Down/ To Cliff and Ruby and little Louise Hampton/ tho the year is old and drear and cold,/Yet my heart is warm with cheer,/ For friends of old- friends of gold - / And the thoughts of yester-year./ The Tingle-lillies". Probably Clifford, Ruby, and Louise Watrous.
