Description	Two small children stand on a dirt road in front of a frame colonial house with corner pilasters and a door with sidelights and entablature. Both the girl and the small boy wear dresses. The boy holds a basket or palm leaf fan. A picket fence and square stone posts line the road. Part of an outbuilding, probably a barn, is visible at the far left. Bushes and trees grow in front of the house. Inscribed on back: "1969 / Bartlett Homestead next to / Firehouse now. / Lester Shippe and his sister Lena / now Pres. Of all Conn. Bank & Trust Cos. / Those stone posts are hitching post for horses."<br>
