Description	Brick, stone and frame commercial buildings line the street. Signs read: "Linus T. Fenn / Furniture / Manufacturer / Upholsterer" "J.W. Dwyer / Joiner & Builder" "Pibbles & Homewood / Hack Livery and Board Stable / Boarding and Feed Stables" "R.T. Alcorn /Joiner shop." "Joiner / Builder / R.T. Alcorn." Two boys, blurred from movement, are looking in a window with lace curtains at the far right. A man stands in the stable door. A wagon is beside the curb. A barrel is on the sidewalk at the far left. Inscribed on back: "This property on the south side of Gold Street / between the old City Hotel property and Heubleins, / formerly Caleb Clapp's Livery Stables was bought by James M. Thomson in 1905. It faces / the Old Cemetery back of Center Church."<br>
Notes	Title supplied by cataloger. <br>Linus T. Fenn was the president of L.T. Fenn Co., located at 641-653 Main Street. <br>John W. Dwyer was a contractor and builder at 17 Gold Street. <br>John Pibbles is listed as an ostler at 19 Gold Street in the 1905 city directory. Albert Homewood is listed as the proprietor of the hack and livery stable at 19 Gold Street. <br>Robert T. Alcorn was a carpenter with a business at 21 Gold Street. <br>James M. Thomson was a broker with offices at 721 Main Street, Room 19. <br>
