Description	Men dressed as Native Americans ride horses on a city street. Some wear feather headdresses, buffalo horns, buckskin clothing, and wigs with braids. A sign on a brick commercial building reads: "209 Mrs. Sill's [211?]" A sign on the awning reads: "209 Stationery..." Hats are on sale in the store at the far left. Ivy grows on the building at the far right. Inscribed on back: "Red Men's parade passing Allyn House annex, July 4, 1912."<br>
Notes	Title supplied by cataloger. <br>Mrs. Emilie M. Sill was a bookseller, newsdealer and stationer at 211 Trumbull Street, the Allyn House annex. <br>Horsemen are probably members of the Improved Order of Red Men, not Native Americans. Hartford had two tribes of these Red Men in 1912: the Sicaogg Tribe, organized in 1901 and the Sonquassen Tribe, organized in 1908. <br>
