Description	Frame cottage painted in contrasting colors, with decorative vergeboards, scroll-cut brackets and railings, and a bay window. Three women stand on the second-story porch or balcony. Additional women, men, boys and a small child are on or near the porch. One woman sits in a rocking chair. A folding chair is at the left. Men have beards or mustaches. One boy wears knickers. A board fence is at the left. Curtains are visible at the windows of a second cottage at the right. Pine trees are in the background. Inscribed beneath image: "Pine Grove Louis Abbot /Mrs. Snow on balcony / Martha Ann Snow Abbott Graves." Inscribed on back: "She sat back of / Uncle Philo Sheldon's / pew in Church & / poked me / in the back / for wriggling / which I resented / Alice P. Doughty."<br>
