Description	Five-story commercial building with marquees over the entrances and striped awnings over the ground floor shop windows. Clothing, including hats and blouses, is on display in the windows. A street lamp, a fire hydrant and a police or fire callbox are on the sidewalk. Trolley tracks are in the paved street and trolley wires are overhead. The Society for Savings building is the next building on the side street at the right. The store immediately to the left has a sign that reads: "Morans / Society / Brand / Clothes." A street sign at the right corner reads: "One-way traffic / Stop." A kerosene lantern hangs from the sign. Inscribed beneath image: "1855-1921."<br>

Moran, at 869 Main Street, specialized in men's and young men's clothing, including shirts, hosiery, underwear, belts, gloves and uniforms. <br>Steiger-Vedder was the successor to C.S. Hills & Co. They sold ready-to-wear apparel, men's furnishings, dress goods, laces and corsets and notions and drugs. In 1920 they were in the process of constructing "a modern 5-story building" to replace their old structure. <br>
