Description	Brick commercial building with center gable supported by pilasters is covered with advertising signs. Signs read: "Storehouse" "The / Bonner, / Preston Co. / Propr's / of / Capitol City Paints and Wallpapers / Salesroom, at 329 Main St." "Photographers' Supplies /Wonderful / Snap / Shot / Camera / $7.00" "Kodaks / Detectives / View Cameras / and / Lenses" "Printing Frames / Printing Papers / Dry Plates / Chemicals" "Artists / Materials" "All Shades of / Floor / Paints / The Best / That Are Made / For Sale Here" "Use Capitol City / Mixed /Paint / It Will Not Scale / Chalk or Crack" "185 - Preston Kenyon - 185" "Campaign Banners Portraits &c." A picket fence is at the right. The brick industrial building at the left has signs that read: "Lithographers" "The Kellogg & Bulkeley Co." Horse-drawn vehicles, some blurred from movement, are in the street, which has trolley tracks in it. Utility poles line the sidewalks. The spire of the Pearl Street Church is in the left background. Inscribed on back: "This building with the Bonner Preston & Co. sign was built / about 1838 and was used as a repository for carriages for / many years & afterward as a chair factory by J. I. Allen / and for store housing. It is directly west and adjoining the / Case Lockwood & Brainard building which was built on / the site of the Old Jail." "Pearl Street south side just / below Trumbull Street."<br>
