Description	Large crowd of men, women, boys and girls gathered at the corner of Main Street and Church Street, Willimantic. Roosevelt stands in a carriage drawn by four horses and driven by two men in top hats. Men in a carriage at the right are taking photographs. People sit on windowsills and lean out of windows. Utility poles and wires line the streets. American flags decorate the buildings. The large building at the left is the Turner Building, housing the Hotel Plaza. Signs on businesses read: "W.L. Williams / Hack & Livery" "Hunt & co., clothier" "Samuel Chesbro, druggist" "Grand Union Tea Co." and "A.M. Towne, photographer." A church is at the far right. Inscribed on back: "Teddy Roosevelt in Willimantic / Aug 1902."<br>
Notes	Title supplied by cataloger. <br>Willis C. Norris was the manager of the Grand Union Tea Co. at 725 Main Street. <br>C. Clinton Helmold and John T. Philbin were proprietors of the Plaza Hotel. <br>
