Description	Two-story clapboard and stone building. Gable roof has brackets and center cupola. Probably a view of the back of the building, there is a small addition near the center with a tall smokestack and a pipe or chute at the right corner with metal container at end over a low roof. There is another one-story building at the right side of factory. Trees in background on left. There is a path or road in the foreground. Inscription on front: "Pratt Read & Co, West Factory. Deep River, Conn. E. R. LaPlace"<br>
Notes	Title supplied by cataloger. <br>Once called Saybrook, the town was named Deep River after its largest community in 1947, retaining Saybrook in another district. <br>Pratt, Read and Company manufactured ivory combs, piano and organ keys and bone products from around 1865 to late 1940s. <br>
