Description	Several men, some wearing military uniforms and hats, stand looking at a man in uniform kneeling on the deck with what appears to be a bazooka on his shoulder. Two men are pointing. There are several wire cables and pulleys visible in the image.<br>
Notes	Title supplied by cataloger.<br>The USS Bexar [pronounced bear] was built by the Oregon Shipbuilding Corporation in Portland, Oregon, and launched 25 July 1945. It was commissioned 9 October 1945. Among several other assignments throughout her career, the Bexar participated in several exercises and cruises along the east coast between 1948 and 1950.<br>William H. Mortensen of Hartford, Connecticut toured the ship Bexar along with several others, probably between 1948 and 1950, when it was stationed along the east coast.<br>
