Description	Frame Colonial building has wooden steps leading to two doors beneath a pedimented entry hood. Some windows have louvered shutters. Roof has a saltbox slope. Some of the barrels in the alley at the right appear to contain trash. Leafless trees are at the left and right. An iron fence is at the left. A hedge is parallel to the house. Snow is on the lawn at the left and in the street. The sidewalk is bare. Newspaper clipping on back reads in part: "December 12, 1907. / Prospect St. Property. / Purchased by the Hartford Times for / a Frontage for the Wood / Building."<br>
Notes	According to the newspaper clipping from the Daily Times, the house was built ca. 1790-1800 and belonged to a merchant named Jonathan Ramsey. From 1829 until 1907, it belonged to the Connecticut River Banking Company. <br>This house was also known as the Thomas Green house. <br>
