Description	Deep snow fills the square at the junction of two commercial streets. The Greek revival building in the center has signs that read: "Apothecaries Hall" and "Drugs, Paints, Oils, Glass, Varnish." A sign on the brick commercial building in the background reads: "Est'd 1840 / J.B. Mullings. / Tailor, Hatter and Furnisher, / Trunks, Umbrellas and / Traveling Bags / Agent for Eighmie Shirt and Du[nla]p Hat." Other signs read: "Selling Out / Selling Out / Enormous / Bargains / Before / Going West / Barrett / 55 Bank St." "Johnso[n?] / and / Kais[er?] / Cloth[iers?]" A building at the far right has large brackets, terra cotta [?] decorations and arched windows. A large watch hangs from the facade. Utility poles line the streets. Men in winter clothing stand on the snow-covered sidewalks. Inscribed on back: "Waterbury - Conn. / The big snow storm / about 1888."<br>
