Description	Large group of men pose on and around a wooden bridge across a stream or canal between two industrial buildings. Some men have beards or mustaches. Some wear aprons. The main factory is a two-story brick building with a sign that reads: "W. Wilcox & Co. Lock Factory." A large pipe connects to a small frame building at the right several millstones lie along the wall of the brick building. Large piles of a dark substance, possibly coal, are at the left. Inscribed on back; "Oct. 30, 1879 / Wilcox Factory, Middletown / (Later Wilcox & Chittenden, makers of marine goods.)"<br>
Notes	Title supplied by cataloger. <br>The William Wilcox Manufacturing Company, located on Glen Lake in the Zoar, Long Hill district of Middletown, manufactured padlocks and plate locks. The street on which it was located is now Highland Avenue. <br>
