Description	Houses and outbuildings, including barns and sheds, dot the lower slopes of Haystack Mountain, the conical hill in the background.The church with the square tower is the Methodist Episcopal Church. A cemetery is at the far left, partially hidden by trees. A house at the far right has a cupola. A dirt road lined with utility poles is in front of the house. Rocky fields and pastures in the foreground are divided by stone walls, Virginia rail fences and wire fences. An orchard of fruit trees, probably apple trees, is at the left. A tower is atop Haystack Mountain and its upper slopes are wooded.<br>
