Description	View from a rocky hill with trees and houses below looking across the flooded Housatonic River towards the city of Derby. Some utility poles are down and some trees are submerged. The complex of frame industrial buildings with skylights, a tower, a cupola and smokestack is the Sterling Piano Company. A freight train is on the railroad tracks beside the river. The brick building with a smokestack at the far left is the Birmingham Armory. Houses, church steeples and additional factories are in the background. The tall spire belongs to St. Mary's Church. The square gothic tower belongs to the Episcopal Church. The pyramidal tower is the Methodist Church. Inscribed on back: "Derby Ct. / 741 / 751."<br>
