Description	Brick structure with stone lintels, cornices, cupola with cross, balcony, balustrade, and arched porch entrance is St. John's Parochial School. Stone building with bell tower, quatrefoil windows, and roofline cross is St. John's Roman Catholic Church. Second Empire stone building with mansard roof and front entry porch is St. John's Rectory. The last building, partially obscured by trees, is St. Elizabeth Convent. Several people, horse drawn carriage and truck are in front of the church. A utility pole and picket fence are near the paved sidewalk. Inscribed on back: "No. 21 / St. John's Roman Catholic Church and school / 1. Parochial school / 2. St. John's church / 3. Residence / 4. Convent / Middletown, Conn."<br>
