Description	High Victorian Gothic structure with Romanesque features including an openwork metal steeple with a staircase and railings, roof cresting, colonnades and stained glass windows. A sculptured ship is on the stone balcony. Flowering plants grow in the basin below. An inscription reads: "In Memory of Caldwell Hart Colt by his Mother." Three women sit on the steps at the right. A potted plant is nearby. A grassy lawn is in the foreground. A sign near the driveway reads: "Keep Off / The Grass."<br>
Notes	Title supplied by cataloger. <br>The Church of the Good Shepherd parish house was designed in 1896 by Edward Tuckerman Potter to complement the Church of the Good Shepherd which he designed in 1869. It commemorates Caldwell Hart Colt, the son of Samuel Colt, who dies at sea. <br>
