Description	Interior of the nave and chancel of stone Gothic church. Mosaics or paintings of scenes from the life of Christ are on either side of a pointed arch that frames a stained glass window and altarpiece. The lower portion of the vaulting is visible above. A plaque reads: "Advent /Day 6." A cloth with a cross is draped from the pulpit. There appears to be an organ at the right. Electric lights are at the left. Wooden pews are in the foreground. A carpet is on the floor. Inscribed on back: "Christ Church Cathedral / Hartford, Connecticut / Taken by Miss Edith Beach."<br>
Notes	Title supplied by cataloger. <br>Christ Church was erected in 1828 to designs by Ithiel Town. It was designated the Cathedral of the Episcopal Diocese of Connecticut in 1919. <br>
