Description	A man in uniform, probably a National Guard uniform, pushes a rowboat down a flooded street. In the boat are a man who appears to be African-American wearing a cap, a man in what appears to be a Salvation Army cap, and an elderly woman holding a box with a sign that reads: "Davis / Baking / Powder." Other men and women are in the boat. Storefront windows in the background have signs that read: "[Abraham] Friedman / Candy Co. / Wholesale / Confectioners" and "Modern Rug Cleaning Co." A fire hydrant is in the right foreground. Inscribed on back: "... Courant / P. Sept. 23 / 38."<br>
Notes	Abraham Friedman was a wholesale confectioner with a candy business located at 188 Pleasant Street. <br>
