Description	Men, most of them wearing boots, stand near a large wheeled and motorized pump. Water issues from a pipe or large hose. Two men on the sidewalk at the left hold shovels and smoke pipes. A man at the right is wearing a sweater and smokes a cigarette. A man at the far right wears a raincoat and a cap. A man in the street at the left wears glasses. Signs on the commercial buildings in the background read: "562 - Feinberg Bros. - 562" "Expert Shoe Rebuilding / Goodyear / Wingfoot / Soles & Heels / Electric / Shoe Repairing / While U Wait / [Sh]oe Shine." A striped awning is above the plate glass store windows. Brick buildings in the left background are probably multiple family residences. Inscribed on back: "Mar 29 / 36."
Notes	Title supplied by cataloger. Morris C. Feinberg was the president of Feinberg Bros., a furniture store, at 562 Front Street. According to Hartford Jews, a book by Rabbi Morris Silverman, published in 1970, Morris C. Feinberg was born in Austria in 1893 and died in Hartford in 1958. Carmelo Guglietta was the proprietor of a shoe repair shop at 558 Front Street.
