Streets

factory

pioneered
the
use
of
steam
and
mass
production
to
manufacture
a
wide
range

metal
products
. His
mill
first
produced
plated
tableware
and
ushered
in
Meriden's
legacy
as the
Silver
City
.
Parker
became
the
first
mayor
of
Meriden
in
1867
