Description	Piles of wooden debris and a small stream are in front of brick building with shed dormer, two stovepipes, lintels, cornice, and possibly attached structure with semicircular roof. In the background are a small frame structure, brick building with mansard roof, and a brick building with hipped roof. A small structure at right has finial and decorative stonework. Inscribed on back: "Charles Street."<br>
Notes	Title supplied by cataloger. <br>Charles Parker built a factory on the acre of land he bought between Elm and High Streets. In his factory, he pioneered the use of steam and mass production to manufacture a wide range of metal products. His mill first produced plated tableware and ushered in Meriden's legacy as the Silver City. Parker became the first mayor of Meriden in 1867. <br>
