Description	Men in winter clothing stand on paving in front of a brick firehouse. Some have beards or mustaches. They wear wool or cotton coats, caps, boots and badges. One man holds a lantern. One holds a snow shovel. Coils of cloth fire hose are on a small sleigh. Men hold ropes attached to the sleigh. Metal letters on the building read: "Hope / 2." Typewritten inscription on back: "No. 2 as equipped following blizzard of March 11, 1888; hose carried in sleigh / of Dr. Donald Crary of Main Street. Herman Bodenstein, Frank Santoro, Charles C. Champlin, James Givens, Mark Grady. Joseph Burns, hose driver; Frederick C. Krug, foreman; Thomas Burnett, Augustus F. Lyons, permanent substitute; John M. Smith / Substitute Hills, Benjamin D. Bailey, John F. Dungan, Substitute Joseph Viter / William Senk.<br>
