Description	View of partially collapsed five-story building. Piles of rubble are on the ground with many men standing on or near them. Men in uniform, probably members of the Connecticut National Guard, are in the foreground. Two wagons, each drawn by two horses, are in the muddy street, which is lined with utility poles, wires and street lights. Buildings, probably including the First Methodist Episcopal Church, are in the background. A sign reads: "Monuments." Inscribed on back: "Park Central Hotel."<br>
Notes	Title supplied by cataloger. <br>The "monument" business may be Stephen Maslen & Co. Monumental Works, 352 Asylum Street. <br>Wellington Ketchum was the proprietor of the Park Central Hotel. The hotel was destroyed by an explosion of its steam boiler in the early morning of February 17, 1889. 22 people were killed. 10 were rescued. Only part of the eastern wing remained standing. <br>
