Description	Cranes are being used to hoist a sculpture into place on the facade of a granite Second Empire style commercial building with many columns, pediments and entablatures. Additional sculpture is already in place. The upper part of the building is surrounded by scaffolding. It appears that an additional story is being added to the building and the mansard roof is being raised. Men and women are on the sidewalks and crossing the streets. An electric trolley car, horse-drawn carriages and wagons and men on bicycles are on Main Street. Signs on the adjoining building read: "Hartford County Mutual Fire Insurance Co." "Dime Savings Bank" "Safe Deposit Boxes."<br>
Notes	Title supplied by cataloger. <br>The Connecticut Mutual Life Insurance Company building was designed by Bryant & Rogers in 1869. In 1926, Connecticut Mutual moved to 140 Garden Street, and the Main Street building was occupied by the Hartford National Bank and Trust Co.
