Description	Interior of a lobby or reception room with wainscoting, a fireplace with decorative tiles and a mirror, moldings, and gaslight fixtures. A staircase with banisters is visible through an open door. A grandfather clock is on the right. A curtain, evidently velvet, hangs from a wooden rod. A chest and a bench with floral upholstery are on the left. A plaque on the wall reads: "In Reverent Memory / of / Joseph and Sarah Eldridge." An oriental rug is on the floor. A chair is near the door. Potted plants, including an orchid, palms, and hyacinths, decorate the room.<br>
Notes	Title supplied by cataloger. <br>Possibly taken at the opening of the library in 1889. <br>The Library in Norfolk, was designed by architect George Keller and constructed of red freestone and red tiles in 1888-1889. <br>
