Description	Brick and frame buildings and utility poles line flooded streets. The brick commercial structure at the far right has a sign that reads: "253 - Leonardo Diano - 253 / Barber Shop" and two striped barber poles. An awning also reads: "Leonardo Diano." Five men are in a rowboat nearby. Most have mustaches. One smokes a cigar. The stone building with a cupola on the opposite corner has signs that read: "Wilson's Cafe" "New England Brewing Co.'s / Sparkling Ales" "New England Brewing Co.'s / Extra Lager." The Connecticut Valley Rail Road platform is in the left background. Boys wearing caps are in the left foreground. Wheels may be part of a tricycle. Inscribed on back: "State and Commerce / Sts about April 16, 09."
Notes	Patrick Wilson was the proprietor of Wilson's Cafe at 255 State Street. The building is listed as a saloon in the city directory. Leonardo Diano was the proprietor of a barbershop at 253 State Street. He lived at 210 Front Street.
