A horse and cart are at the far right. A sign hanging over the street reads: "Slow Fire Dept." The drug store on the corner has a sign that reads: "Joseph P. Deegan, Pharmacis[t]." The sign below reads: "Borden's /Evaporated Milk." Inscribed on back: "State & Edwards."
Notes	Title supplied by cataloger. Joseph P. Deegan was a pharmacist at 982 State Street, New Haven. The United Advertising Corporation of New Haven took photographs to document the placement of their billboards in locations throughout Connecticut. Street with trolley tracks, utility poles and wires, lined with commercial and residential buildings. Pedestrians are on the sidewalk and automobiles are parked beside the curb.
