Description	Vertical-boarded wooden sheds beside a road with trolley tracks and utility poles. Signs on the sheds read: "Electrical / Supplies" "Emergency / Hospital / T.C. Desmond Co. / Engineers and Contractors / New York City." Other signs read: "Loitering / Prohibited" and "No Admittance to Field / Without Permit." Lumber and other building materials are in piles. Four men load or unload lumber from a horse-drawn wagon. Houses in various stages of construction are at the right. A shovel leans against a foundation in the left background. Beyond is what appear to be a vegetable garden and fruit trees, probably apple trees. A railroad crossing sign, two automobiles and two frame houses are in the far distance near a wooded hill.
Notes	Title supplied by cataloger. The plot of land at the corner of New Britain Avenue and Newington Avenue was formerly a farm owned by Henry Stanwood Atwood, Street Commissioner of Hartford.
