Description	View of the seven-story Garde Hotel on the corner of High Street and Asylum Street. There are striped awnings on the first floor shop windows with a sign that reads: "Palmer's Park Drug Store." Additional advertising signs for the drug store are on the side. A Coca Cola sign is at the corner of the hotel. Other businesses include the "Calhoun Show Print Co." and part of the Marwick Drug Store. Part of the Park Congregational Church is at the far left. Men and women are on the sidewalk. Utility poles and wires line the street. Inscribed on back: "Hartford / Garde Hotel, corner High & Asylum Sts."
Notes	Title supplied by cataloger. Marwick Drug Store, Albert Marwick, druggist, was located at 377 Asylum Street. Calhoun Show Print Co. was located at 356 Asylum Street. The Park Congregational Church, formerly the North Church, was located at 390 Asylum Street. Palmer's Park Drug Store, Frank L. Palmer, proprietor, was located at 376 Asylum Street. The Garde Hotel was a property of the Roslyn Investment Co. William H. Garde was the president of the Roslyn Investment Co.
