Description	Brick commercial block with shops on the ground floor. Shop windows appear to be empty and stores unoccupied except for the business on the corner, which has a striped awning and may be a barbershop. A striped pole is at the corner of the sidewalk near a fire hydrant and a street lamp. A bicycle is beside the steps and a man stands in the doorway. A boy with a bicycle is in the street in front of the Center Congregational Church, with fluted Doric columns and a clock in the steeple. A frame commercial building and another church are at the far left. Utility poles line the street and trolley tracks are in the street at the right. Inscribed, lower left: "The Franklin Hall Building / Cor Main and Broad Sts. / Built in 1854, Demolished in 1894 / B. Hubbell Photo."
