Description	Men in seventeenth-century costume advance up a rocky slope. Most wear tall hats and capes. One man carries a staff. One wears eyeglasses. One has a mustache. One wears armor. Some lead cows, oxen or horses. A woman is seated sidesaddle on one of the horses. Additional men and women disembark from a barge on the Connecticut River. Parts of two canoes and a man dressed as a Native American are at the far right.
Notes	Title supplied by cataloger. The Bulkeley Bridge opened to trolley traffic on December 8, 1907 and to the general public on December 21, 1907. The dedication of the bridge was the occasion of a three-day celebration on October 6,7, and 8, 1908.
