Description	View looking down the glen at Cotton Hollow, also known as Cotton Factory Village. Roaring Brook flows downhill with trees on either side. The trees on the right appear to be hemlocks. Houses and other buildings line the stream on the left. Large industrial buildings are in the background. Barber, in his text, identifies the business as the Hartford Manufacturing Co. Inscribed beneath image: "W. view of the Hartford Co.'s Cotton Factories Glastenbury [sic]"<br>
