The complex of industrial buildings with the dome near the water tower is Colt's Patent Fire Arms Manufacturing Company. The Connecticut River is immediately to the right. The city of Hartford is in the left background with Travelers tower at the far left. The Bulkeley Bridge is in the center background. East Hartford is in the right background. Inscribed on back: "Hartford / Flood Area / March 1936."
