Description	Two-story frame building with louvered shutters at some windows and porches at the left and right, possibly indicating use as a multiple family dwelling. Leafless vines grow on the walls. Signs read: "Kate C. Saunders / Removed to / The Waverly Bldg. / Room 18" and "Notice / Proposals for the Tearing Down and Re-/ moving of this Building Will Be Re- / ceived until May 10th at the Office of Char-/ les [?] Whitmore Architect 190 Pearl St." A rail and chicken wire fence surrounds the yard. A sidewalk, a utility pole and wires are in the foreground. Inscribed on back: "This building on Pratt Street (south side) facing the / Unity Building was owned and tenanted by C.W. Huntington / torn down in June 1897 and a large brick building is being /built there called the 'Stearns' building."
Notes	In the 1896 Hartford city directory, K.C. Saunders is listed as a milliner at 31 Pratt Street.In the 1897 directory her business address appears as 253 Main Street, Room 18. She resided at 3 Seyms Street.
