Description	Frame center chimney house with a gambrel roof and a saltbox addition in the rear stand in a grassy field near trees and bushes. Rail fences are on left and right. Letterpress inscription beneath image: "The Old Glebe House at Woodbury, Conn. / The Birthplace of the Church in America." Letterpress inscription on back is an appeal for funds to help restore and maintain the house. It reads in part: "Bishop Brewster feels that it should be the pride of the Church to restore and keep this 'ancient landmark,' and especially the room where the Convention met should be suitable [sic] furnished,...and that a tablet should be erected there, stating the historic facts. It is proposed to carry out Bishop Williams's plan, and make the house a home for an aged and infirm clergyman, thus uniting it with the active work of the Church."
