Description	Brick commercial buildings and utility poles line a street. The building at the right has stepped gables. The building at the left has an advertising sign that reads: "[Mu]lcahy Outfitter / The Place / to buy your / Clothing & Furnishings / Trunks Hats Caps / Bags / 39-41 / [Asylum St.] Hartford." The building in the left foreground appears to be undergoing demolition. Blocks of stone and a wooden crate are on the ground. Inscribed, lower left: "Foot of State Street / from R.R. July 27, 1903."
Notes	Title supplied by cataloger. Edward J. Mulcahy was a clothier and men's outfitter at 33-41 Asylum Street.
