Description	Theater, shops and offices in a brick commercial building. A protruding sign, set with electric light bulbs, reads: "New Palace." Signs for other businesses read: "Jack Irving / Shoe" "The Palace Fruit Shop" "New Paris" "Brown's Drug Store" "United Cigars." Advertising signs in shop windows read: "Marlboro" "Coca-Cola" "Bankrupt Stock" "Greatest Package Sale / Ever Held in Hartford" "The Prince of Tempters." Signs in offices on upper stories, some stenciled on windows, read: "A.M. Le Roy & Co. / Insurance" "Frank S. Sellew / Builders" "Dr. F.J. Ragan / Dentist" "Dr. M.N. Cohen / Dentist" "N.F. Rago / Attorney at Law."
Notes	Title supplied by cataloger. William C. Brown operated a drug store at 649 Main Street. Nicholas F. Rago, attorney and counselor at law and secretary to the Mayor (1920) had offices in room 206 at 647 Main Street. Ferdinand D'Esopo, attorney and counselor at law, had offices in room 212 at 647 Main Street. Costas Harvvas and Peter N. Saherapas operated the New Paris Tea Room at 641 Main Street. Felix J. Spugnardo and Frank J. Stavola operated the Palace Fruit shop at 639 Main Street. Anthony M. Le Roy and Vincent Ierardi operated a real estate and insurance agency at 647 Main Street, room 505. Frank S. Sellew, Inc. builders and contractors were located at 647 Main Street, room 306. Albert Seicol was manager of the Irving Shoe Store at 637 Main Street.
