Description	Man behind wheel of an electric automobile, parked on a track in front of a reviewing stand with an umbrella-shaped top. The driver wears a cap and goggles. The nine men on the stand wear suits, jackets and bowler hats. Inscribed on back: "Eddie Bald (Cannonball) driving Columbia 4 Cylinder Racing Car at Charter Oak Park - 1906. Car made by Electric Vehicle Company Hartford Conn." "Top L to R: Mayor [William] Henney, Hiram Percy Maxim, Milton J. Budlong, Mayor's chauffeur; Bottom, L to R: Fred Dayton, Kid Curtin, W[illiam] J. McAneeny ["wrong person"], Jim Grady."
Notes	Title supplied by cataloger. Edward C. Bald, Hiram Percy Maxim, Milton J. Budlong and William J. McAneeny were all associated with the Electric Vehicle Company. Budlong was president, Maxim was chief engineer, McAneeny was purchasing agent and Bald was a salesman. The Electric Vehicle Company was located at 1 Laurel Street, Hartford.
