Description	Workmen stand in front of a brick church wall surrounded by rubble. One man wears overalls and leans on a shovel. Two other men have wheelbarrows. A man on a bicycle looks on from the left. A small girl looks on from the sidewalk at the right. A horse in harness is at far right. A poster at far left reads: "Smoke / theÂ…" Laundry hangs from a clothesline attached to a chimney nearby. Inscribed on back: "Old First M E Ch. On / Asylum St. Front torn out / to make room for store / April 13, 1911 / Courant / Later became Empire Theater."
