Description	Crowds of spectators line Trinity Street as military units march through the Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Arch and across the Ford Street bridge. The arch has round gothic towers and a sculptured frieze. The Park River bordered by a stone retaining wall and an embankment is in the foreground. Commercial and industrial buildings and the steeples of two churches are in the distance. A building at the left has a sign that reads: "Monuments." A large tent and a fountain are in the park in the background. Several trees appear to be elms. Inscribed on back: "Parade through Memorial Arch Bushnell / Park / Sept. 17, 1886. / Dedication of Arch."
Notes	Title supplied by cataloger. The Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Arch, designed by George Keller and constructed of local brownstone and granite, was erected in 1885 to commemorate those who served and died in the Civil War.
